Grobe's 1853 Cover for his Variations on Jullien's Theme from the Katy-did Polka

Scroll down to the bottom of the blog to the brown illustration section for the 1853 copy of Charles Grobe's Variations of the Jullien Katy-did Polka theme.

The cover is inscribed to a fellow musician, Septimus Winner at the very bottom of the page.

I am going to digitalize the above article on Grobe written by John Gillespie called Charles Grobe, the Bard of Wilmington, sent to me by the Wilmington Delaware Historical Society before I present my theory that Charles Grobe was very likely the author of the letter to Jullien and signed anonymously as Amico.
